A Chip The Size of a Blood Cell

Two scientists at the Institute of Technology in California have developed a chip of the side of a Blood Cell. The scientists are Dr Stoddart and Dr Hearth. They say that this micro sized device is capable of storing 160,000 bits. Even thought it is not that much, when compared with today SanDisk and many other storage gadget, it is a amazing achievement to create such a thing capable of storing. However, it stops working after certain time. When reading about this, I was just amazed. I ask myself, "How did they build such a small device?"

I first read about this at NewYorkTimes.com you can go there for more information.
In an article written by Kennet Chang.

If you want more information about this, you can also go to news.google.com and "google it"
