When you buy a PC or any other article, retailers offer you a extra warranty. It can cost you from 100-300 dollars or more when it comes about PCs. But is it worth the price? you may say yes, I may say that it is not worth.
Just imagine, I go to the PC store to buy my brand new PC. I spent 1 year saving that money to get that computer I always wanted. Suppose it is a 1,000 dollar PC. You select your computer, and then a person working there tells you "you should buy a 2 or 3 years warranty. It is going to cost you 250 to 350 dollars." The first thing they tell you is that if for some reason your computer get damaged, they say that they gonna fix it for you or replace the broken part of the computer. That sounds good? But then I ask myself, What if.............? What if my PC does not have any problem for those 2 to 3 years, will they give me my money back? For sure they will not. OK, but will they give me at least a 50% back? No, they won't. At least a 10 percent? Final answer is not. You do not get any money back and that is warrantied.
That is the part I don't like from buying a extra warranty for my PC or any other stuffs I buy. They do not give me any money back. However, if you do not wanna take risks, buy your warranty. It may work for you. Some times is worth it. Some times.
